So. Mariano Rivera. You were getting an insane contract offer. You’d be getting 15 Million Dollars to play baseball at the age of 40. And by play baseball, I do mean an inning every other game or so.

I made mention of how fiscally ridiculous the contract offer is, but the fact of the matter? I would not blame the player for the owners idiocy. If he was going to get a crazy offer, he’d be a fool not to take it.
