Now I'm not going to say I know more about the Vols than you, Luke. But I did watch them, and the big difference between Lofton and Smith is in the ability to create their own shot. Smith may yet be a better pro, but right now Lofton has the more interesting skill set.

Mr. Zach Feinstein missed the cut. I'm jealous that he actually made the commitment to the draft.

After watching Tennessee intently the last 3 years, it is JaJuan Smith, not Chris Lofton, that has the best chance of making an impact in the NBA. While Lofton is a truly lethal shooter when healthy, Smith is just about as good. He's a clearly superior athlete and arguably played the best defense of any guard in the SEC. His glaring weakness is his ball handling, but he will absolutely make it in the NBA if he can improve in this area. Right now, Lofton is lacking in both athleticism and defense if he wants to compete at the NBA level. I wish them both the best.

As for George Hill? There's something to him being a potential Jamario Moon. If he can be a scoring 1 instead of a Tweener, he has a real NBA future.

Reggie Williams? He's got an Adam Emmenecker style orthodoxy to his game, he's going to need some coaching staff to fall in love with him to have him stick.

And as for the Mystery Tribune Man? Are you mad because I hate your Fukudome T-shirt?

I'll throw another one out there for you: Reggie Williams (SF-Virginia Military Institute)

Why will he be passed up? He's 6' 5" and lacks the speed/athleticism to cover most NBA 2-Guards. He also played against poorer competition and in a gimmicky uptempo offensive system.

Why is he still worth your time? He's got basketball smarts and he's crafty; he's like the rich man's Adrian Griffin. He led the nation in scoring for the past two years, averaged double-figure boards, and had a fair share of picks as well. Maybe not a regular NBA contributor, but could be an interesting bench guy for the right team. Or he'll just end up being the guy who does the little things on some D-League team.

George Hill, SG, IUPUI *JR*...lead team in most statistical categories and shot over 50% from the floor, which is great for a shooting guard. Can also handle the point solidly.
