Eric Gagne: Jamacian Me Crazy…

Yesterday, I found a great deal of respect for Gagne. He was able to look in the mirror and say that he didn’t have it. He was struggling, and he manned up. Always respectable.

Today?

Yeah. He went there. And as a fan? I sincerely hate this guy now. He’s flip-flopped faster than a politician from the primary to the general election.

Yeah. That’s Maverick behavior. He goes from this…

May 10th: “I don’t deserve that ninth inning right now. It’s very simple.”

to this

May 12th: “I know I belong in the ninth inning.”

It makes my brain hurt. A two inning stint when he allows another earned run and he’s all better. Yeah, I probably should go easier on the man, but come on. Having a flash of clarity and then flip-flopping in two days is rigoddamndiculous.

More to come as life develops.

(P.S. If Obama loses by 10 tonight? It’s as good as a win.)
