I am about to become a fan of a hated team. It’s not a bandwagon jump by anystretch of the imagination. But I am seeing the future, and for those that watch ESPN on any sort of a regular basis, this is truly a doomsday scenario.
The Green Bay Packers are 3-0. They have run the table on three of last years playoff teams. And here’s the thing that will make the Mainstream Media salivate in a Pavlovian fashion. Brett Favre is doing well.
Here’s his average through three games…27-42 287 yards 2 scores. Expect stories involving Brett Favre being back. Or is Brett Favre an MVP Candidate? Or did Brett Favre heal the sick and feed the hungry?

Farve isn’t the big story anymore. America wants to hear about teams falling apart ala the Chargers and the Saints. Is Farve becoming the NFL’s Curtis Granderson? Probably not, but he will not be as widely reported as he has been in previous years which is great for us packer fans! We’re 3-0 and noone is really talking about it!
