Who’s Hack? Olbermann Bracket (3) Joe Morgan vs. (6) Ron Jaworski

Filed under: EVERYTHING I SAY IS IMPORTANT!, The Worldwide Leader — by Andrew @ 10:47 pm

It’s football versus baseball. Two hall of famers in a classic confrontation. Joe Morgan was the ignitor of the Big Red Machine. Ron Jaworski was nothing more that the greatest Pennsylvania quarterback of all time. But now the question is…

Who’s Hack? (3) Joe Morgan vs. (6) Ron Jaworski

Joe Morgan

The Case For: Let’s keep it simple. Fire Joe Morgan. They’ll explain it much better than we could ever have. They’ve devoted all their time to analyzing the sheer level of suck of one Joe Morgan.
The Case Against: He’s not Tim McCarver. When you get drunk enough, he can sound like Keith Jackson. But after that, you are forced to visist the emergency room. Perhaps it’s more of a case for Tim McCarver, but what are you going to do?

Ron Jaworski

The Case For: He tries so hard to be one of the cool kids. But being friends with Jon Bon Jovi in losing money on an Arena Football League team is not cool. (It’s not 1997). Wearing the glasses of an elitist hipster at a Yo La Tengo concert is not cool. He is Gilbert Lowell’s father.
The Case Against: He may indeed be a nerd, but his love of breaking down film actually gives him some value on those NFL match-up shows. And he had a decent run of football in the NFL. He says John Beck’s pretty good, I’m inclined to believe him.

We have two men whom peaked in their mid-20’s. Who advances?

Take Our Poll

Yay! Joe Morgan for the win!
